Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and 3V3 (“we”, “us”) when you use 3V3 on the web or in our apps. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Rulebook. If you don't agree, please don't use 3V3.

3V3 is a free-to-play fantasy football game. Before a real Premier League or Champions League match, you and your friends snake-draft three players each; they score points from what they do in the match, live; and the highest score wins the room. Crews keep a season-long table of their rooms and can play the Crew Cup.

3V3 is not gambling. There are no entry fees and no cash prizes, and nothing you win in 3V3 has any money value. Bragging rights only.

• You must be 16 or over. (The website's old paid rooms were for over-18s only.)
• You may have one account. Accounts are personal: don't share or sell yours.
• You must not be barred from using 3V3 under the law where you live.

• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account; tell us straight away if someone else gets into it.
• Pick a username that isn't offensive, misleading or someone else's name. We may change one that is.
• You can delete your account any time in Profile → Delete account.

Games follow the Rulebook: the draft, the pick timer, captains, multipliers and scoring. You agree not to:

• Use more than one account, or team up across accounts to fix a room or a crew's results.
• Use bots, scripts or other automated tools, or exploit bugs (please report them instead).
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including in chat, usernames and crew names.
• Post anything illegal, hateful, sexual or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, or disrupt 3V3.
• Copy or scrape 3V3, or use it to run a business, without our permission.

We may void results, reset tables or take the steps in Suspending or closing accounts if these rules are broken.

• A crew's owner runs it: invites, the Crew Cup, and removing the crew. Members can leave any time.
• Tables, awards (like Manager of the Week and the Wooden Spoon), rivalries and the Crew Cup are for fun. They carry no prize or money value.
• A crew's name, badge, table and members can be seen by anyone with its invite link.

You can buy optional digital items. None of them changes a score or gives anyone an advantage in a game.

• Crew Pass: extra crew features for everyone in the crew (more members, every award and rivalry, past seasons and the Crew Cup) until the end of the football season it's bought for, on 1 July. It doesn't renew automatically.
• Crew boosts: anyone in a crew can chip in; enough boosts in a season unlock that season's Crew Pass for the crew.
• Card skins: new looks for the cards you share. Yours to keep for as long as 3V3 offers them.

Paying, refunds and your rights

• In the app, you pay Apple or Google, and their terms also apply. On the website, you pay through Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy and include any taxes that apply.
• Refunds of in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google (reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play's refund page). For website purchases, email us. A refunded item is removed.
• Digital items are yours as soon as you buy them. If you're in the UK or EU, you agree that they start straight away and understand that this ends the usual 14-day right to cancel. Your other legal rights, such as a refund for an item that doesn't work, are unaffected.
• Items have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money or transferred to another account, except where the law says otherwise.
• If we ever stop offering an item or close 3V3, we'll give reasonable notice, and refunds where the law requires.

Before 3V3 became free to play, the website ran rooms with entry fees and prizes. If you have money left in your 3V3 wallet from those rooms, it's yours:

• You can withdraw all of it, with no minimum and no fee, from Wallet on the website.
• We may need to confirm your identity and payout details first, as the law requires.
• Rooms with entry fees that had already started were finished and paid under the rules in force when they were entered.
• Any tax on past winnings is your responsibility.

No new entry fees or deposits are taken. If you need help with a balance, email support@3-v-3.app.

• Scores come from official match data supplied by a third party. If the data is corrected after a match, scores, rooms and tables may be updated.
• If a match is postponed or abandoned, its rooms may be cancelled.
• 3V3 isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League, UEFA or any club or player. Club names, badges and player names belong to their owners and are used to describe real matches.

Your username, picture, crew names and messages stay yours. You let us show them in 3V3 and on share cards for as long as you use 3V3, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms.

3V3's name, logo, designs (including the Crew Cup trophy), software and content belong to us or our licensors. You may use 3V3 and share its cards for personal use; please don't copy, modify or build on them otherwise.

We work hard to keep 3V3 running and the scores right, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove features.

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for losses caused by things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited, and your rights as a consumer are unaffected.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that we must close by law, usually after a warning unless it's serious. You can close your account any time. Closing an account doesn't affect any balance from paid rooms, which you can still withdraw.

If something goes wrong, email us first: most things can be sorted quickly. If you live in the UK, the laws of the part of the UK where you live apply and you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the US, disputes will be resolved by individual arbitration where the law allows, rather than in court or as part of a class action; you can still bring a claim in small claims court.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
